NUMBAH ONE WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Anywho, as many of you probably already know, Morning Musume's 52nd single, "Help Me!!" achieved a #1 weekly ranking on the Oricon charts! This was last achieved with their 39th single, "Shouganai Yume Oibito" almost 4 years ago!
It's funny, during the past week, I've been listening to "Shouganai Yume Oibito" a lot...I mean, it was MY JAM when it came out (and it's still a favorite of mine), and when it reached number one for the weekly charts, I was ecstatic. It was the first number one single I experienced in real time with the group, so it's very special to me. For some reason, I felt like when I listened to it this past week...it would somehow help them reach number one again. I felt very strongly that this single would reach number one, so I guess I was psyching myself up.
Anyway, this post is really just a congratulations to the girls, since they've been working really hard, and they totally deserve this position, since the song is very well done, and the girls execute the choreography well and give it their all when performing live! It's good to see that all of their hard work is being rewarded.
So on the Morning Musume YouTube channel, a reaction video has been uploaded! 8D
Y'all need to watch it! The staff sits down each of the members in small groups, and tells them that they have achieved number one! It's so refreshing to watch their genuine reactions, and I love to see how happy they all are~! My favorite reaction has to be Kuduu and Sakura. I won't spoil it for you, so go watch it! I believe it happens around the eight minute mark.
UGUUUUUUUUUUU THEY'RE SO CUUUUTE.
I'm so happy for all of them.
I do hope that they can reach number one again in the near future.

I do apologize that I didn't go very in depth with this, but I am currently ASMing a play which opens in a month, so I don't have a lot of free time to blog.
